World of Trees was established in 2008 in Australia by Senior Forester, Brett Tunstall.

 

After moving from his homeland Australia to New Zealand in 1993 and gaining a Bachelor of International Business and working in the corporate sector for many years, Brett graduated with a Diploma in Forestry Management in New Zealand in 2002. He had many years experience working for the likes of Carter Holt Harvey (an Integrated Forestry Company), Petersens Portable Sawmills, Forest and Woodlot Inventory Services and the New Zealand Department of Conservation throughout New Zealand, Australia, Germany and France.

 

Brett's knowledge of World Best Practice in Forestry and his focus on sustainable land management, along with his vast experience has allowed him to take a whole of farm approach and work with landholders to develop planting projects suitable for their land.
